Last night we participated in a wonderful event put on by Melissa Margarita DiStefano of Masterpiece weddings called Lets Eat Cake. Melissa dreamed (litterally) of putting together a wedding cake competition to benefit the St. Jude's Hospital. This was The Sugar Suite's first cake competition and we were blown away by some of the cakes!!! Notable bakers include The Ritz-Carlton of Naples, Party Flavors of Ocoee, Anna Cakes of Winter Park, and The Ettiquette of Chocolate.
It was such a great experience meeting other bakers, and seeing their creations and to top it all off the event raised a lot of money for St. Jude's Hospital!!!
