Springtime Sugar Blooms at The Sugar Suite!

For the past couple months, us gals at The Sugar Suite have been under a sugar spell!  Sugar Flowers have been our new obsession and with Spring's arrival we feel it is a perfect time to share our work! Nicole, Megan, Sharon, Meredith and myself are proud to showcase our sugar blooms!

This one we call an ombre rose, whose petals cascaded down the cake.  Sweet and femenine!

This was a Southern flower cascade with magnolias, camelias, hydrangea, garden roses, orchids, and of course pearls! The entire cake took over 120 hours just for the sugar flowers.  This cake became a masterpiece and garnered so much of our love it began to feel like a person.  It made its a grand appearance at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Lakes. A more modern take on a large brooch centered bloom with ruffle edges

This cake was a meeting of "fresh" and "bling".  We dusted the mini brooch centered roses with green petal dust to give it a very gardeny-clean look.  The wedding was at the Grand Bohemian, so it was only fitting to have real silver brooches and some tone on tone fondant damask design.

Anyone that knows us, knows we are crazy about the cobalt!  When Bonnie Dutka of Mobella Events asked us to put together a Spanish Cobalt tile and tangerine wedding cake, we were so excited!

Mint green and gold are the trending colors this wedding season.  Amalie Orrange and Sarah with Weddings by Two Plus Hue put together this shooot at Cypress Grove Estate House

This one is sweetly named the "teacup wedding cake" by our friend and amazing photographer Amalie Orrange.
